Tuition Assistance

Seven Arrows has a long-standing commitment to providing Tuition Assistance (TA) to families who otherwise would not be able to afford an independent school education. Even though we are small by design, we work hard to ensure that we can provide need-based tuition to fill the gap between what a family can contribute and total tuition and fees. Tuition Assistance awards are based on each family’s demonstrated financial need. TA also includes assistance for expenses that are non-tuition related such as enrichment classes, field trips, books, etc. Families are given the option to pay tuition in 10 equal payments from May 1 – February 1. Because Seven Arrows Elementary School is a one-to-one device school, financing is provided upon request to make these purchases more attainable.

 

In accordance with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), we believe that the responsibility for financing a private education rests primarily with the student’s family. Seven Arrows partners with School and Student Services (SSS) by NAIS to process tuition-assistance applications. Families may apply beginning in November prior to the year they intend to enroll. Families applying for tuition assistance must create an account with SSS and submit the application to Seven Arrows for consideration. Your tuition-assistance application is complete after you have filled out the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and uploaded supporting tax documents. Families who do not upload their required application and financial documents will not be considered for assistance.

New Families – Tuition Assistance Timeline

  • Mid February – Deadline for completing your application/PFS.

  • Late February – Deadline for submitting 2024 and 2025 tax forms.

  • Early/Mid March – Admissions Decisions released. Tuition assistance, if awarded, will automatically be adjusted/reflected in the enrollment contract.

Families that currently have a child at Seven Arrows, and who are applying for Tuition Assistance, should visit the SSS website and review/update your PFS by clicking the button below.

 

Mid January – Deadline for submitting your Tuition Assistance application to SSS including the completion of your updated PFS.

 

Late February – Deadline to upload the following documents to SSS:

  • 2025 W2’s and 1099’s with ALL schedules and statements
  • 2024 Federal income tax return, signed, with ALL schedules and statements
  • Business tax return(s) and balance sheet (if you own any part in a farm, sole proprietorship, partnership, S-Corporation) – IRS Schedule K-1, Form 1065, Form 1120, and/or Form 1120S

Completing the Parents’ Financial Statement

To begin your Tuition Assistance application, you must complete SSS’s Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. You’ll need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS. We also recommend that you review the wide range of materials that SSS has put together to help families with the Tuition Assistance process.  Seven Arrows grants assistance based upon your completed PFS and our current budget.

Begin a PFS for Academic Year 2026-2027. You can always logout and return to complete the application at a later time.  

 

Submit and pay the non-refundable fee to gain access to the Managing/Uploading Documents section that is needed to complete the process.

GIVING

As is the norm at independent schools, tuition at Seven Arrows covers only 80 percent of our operating budget. We rely on the generosity of our community through charitable contributions in order to bridge that gap. Our goal each year for the Annual Giving campaign is 100% participation from our entire community, and all gifts, regardless of amount, are welcomed, appreciated and needed.
