The fine and performing arts have always been a high priority at Seven Arrows, which was founded on the idea of creating Global Festivals to celebrate the arts and traditions of diverse cultures from around the world. Our arts programs are at the heart of our experiential learning methods and are closely tied to the Global Cultural History (social studies) program. We believe that powerful arts combined with powerful academics create high-achieving, high-performing students who love learning.
Our arts programs are integrated with learning in other content areas and provide a context for application of that learning. School events such as El Día de los Muertos, Black History Month, the Masquerade festival, and El Día de la Madre (Mother’s Day) enable students to transform their learning into artistic masterpieces. The Seven Arrows fine and performing arts programs reflect the school’s mission of embracing the uniqueness of each child and respecting the multiple ways in which art is both learned and communicated. Seven Arrows offers fine art, music, drama, and dance as part of the formal curriculum.
